The Energy situation

The Green dot is the Dur-anta Dam, the province's only source of industrial power. The yellow dot is the Naglu dam and the blue dot is the Sarubi dam; these two dams provided Kabul with 100 and 23 megawatts respectively. The blue lines are existing high voltage power lines. And the yellow line is a projected high-voltage power line. All of the squigly red lines are places that will support the installation of macro and micro hydros. There is a great deal to say about energy, so I will have to put together a full post on it at another time.
