big fat fibber

Ok, so I’m a big fat fibber. I promised that I would be writing more and instead I take an additional 2-week hiatus from writing...sorry about that.

As usual, work has been going at a crazy pace. The Wing is ramping up for yet another deployment to the dear old ‘sandbox’ (that’s Marine Corps speak for South West Asia). The Wing’s deployment preparation is making it difficult for me to get my out-processing done…lots of folks are tied up with more important things than me. :) It is a very good thing that I still have a good bit of time left: only 3 ½ week left until Rheagan, Lucas and I pull out of North Carolina. WooHoo! Here is the rough break down of the Frantz family schedule for this summer (please keep in mind that this is only about a 75% solution):

- 11 June: last day of work with the 4th Fighter Wing

- 12 or 13 June: Lucas, Rheagan, and I drive up to Gambrills MD to see Grandma and Granddad

- 16 June: Lucas, Rheagan, and I fly to San Diego to see Great Grandma Mugsey and Grand Uncle Dick Dad (If you think that all of these titles are confusing, imagine how Lucas feels…)

- 22 June: Lucas, Rheagan, and I return to Gambrills MD

- 24 June: Lucas, Rheagan, and I fly to Porland Maine to see Great Grandma and Great Granddad Frantz

- 30 June (I think): Lucas, Rheagan, and I return to Gambrills MD

- 4 July: Lucas is Christened at the Church of the Good Shepard in Galax VA (I’m am still setting this up, so this is tentative: will know for sure in a few days )

- 6 July: I report to Wright Patterson AFB in Ohio for the basic Civil Engineer Officer’s course. This will last until 30 August. In the meantime Lucas and Rheagan are going to visit all of the various Great Grandparents, Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles in Virginia, Maryland, and Missouri.

- 31 August: The three of us are off to Tokyo Japan!

--> Happy 3 year anniversary to David and Jennifer Woods! My hat’s off to you.

You not only take two weeks to write a new post, but you write it in Microsoft Word and then just copied and pasted into your blog!

But thanks for the anniversary wished! It was a terrific day!

Where will you be in Missouri? You should come stay with us a weekend or so!
