That burning 80-year old sensation

Recently, I have been going to a rock climbing gym in downtown Dayton. The gym is a remodeled church/cathedral called The Urban Krag. The fist day that I went I had a great time of things. I was climbing all over the place and feeling pretty good about myself. However, things were a bit different when I woke up the next morning: my forearms were on fire and my hands felt like they were 80 years old. But it was a good kind of burning/80-year-old sensation. I felt like I had received a real workout. The story has been about the same every time I have gone to the crag. The best part is that I feel that I am getting in shape faster than I would be if I was lifting. This is another bonus because I have found myself to be far too lazy to keep up a good weight lifting routine. As long as fitness is fun, I am game.
