Are you ready?

This bicycle cost 96,800 yen without the umbrella and special-
umbrella-attachment-device. That is about: $905.00 USD. With the 'special-umbrella-attachment-device, the cost is a cool $1,000.00 USD. Please note the lack of any gears or gear-shifting device. Yup, its a 1 speed with a sting of christmas-lights wired into it!
Here are a few pics from our recent trip to the Tokyo Art Festival (click on the image below)
Here is anther interesting photograph

I spotted this one when I pulled out the old shot of my brother: This is Luxfx , Babagannoush and myself getting ready for a high school dance. (I’m the intelligent-looking one!)

Well, its true--I have been hiding from the dear ol Blog. A few weeks ago I contacted a moderate case of coodies (That’s Japanese for bronchitis). Having coodies in Tokyo is bad news in that the air here is already the equivalent of a daily pack of cigarettes. Never the less, thanks to miracle of bread mold in the form of a small pill, I have recovered nicely. Lucas also got sick. However, his immune system is thankfully more resilient than mine: He had a small cold (his first), and was over it in short order. Anyways....
Much has happened in the last few weeks. The most fun thing is that Rheagan, Lucas and I made a trip to downtown Tokyo to see the annual City of Tokyo Art Festival. It was wild and weird. Apparently, the Japanese are big on performance art: Specifically performance art of a graphic nature... I will spare you the details in this forum. Otherwise the festival was a lot of fun if a little visually overwhelming.
Here is a picture that I took while we were traveling downtown.

The most important thing that has happened is my Little Bro’s birthday (ok, it was 2 days ago...but when you hit 25 you have stop looking so close at the calendar book). Yup, David has now hit the big 25....wow writing that made me feel old. 25 marked the end of the perfect metabolism for me...so all I can say is watch out for the old waist line! The good news is that the waist line problem is easily solvable by subsiding on a strict diet of hot water and mulch paired with regular exercise...yes video games count as exercise. But only first person shooters! lol Happy B-Day!
Here is a picture of my little Bro on his 5th birth day. note the resemblance to the picture above. Very suspicious wouldn't you say?
